WHEN DID YOU START COLLECTING AND WHY?

I started Collecting when I was about four with the Mego Superheroes (Falcon was always my favorite!) I have just picked it up again, much to the dismay of my wife!!

HOW HARD IS IT TO FIND THE TOYS YOU WANT?

The toys I want are very pretty easy to find around Dallas (Although I stumbled Upon the Kiss 1st ed. case in San Diego), but they are pretty damn expensive! (Tonight I just payed $21.95 for a Deluxe Spawn...Not something I want to do often for a single fig!)

I bought Rolling Stones tickets last week at the stadium..Oh, Wait..That's not what you mean. Listen, I don't think it's right for raiders to buy up everything in a store just to lower availability, but I think that if someone has a legitimate toy to sell, then they will get what they can for it.

With regard to the above scapling question, The buyers themselves perpetuate it by requesting Toys (note the word!!) that have only mint cards (I remember when you used to tear open the box to get to the toy!) or have never been played with. I would certainly like to see more trading of loose figs for a much lower price! (like $2-$5, depending on demand, condition, etc.). Isn't everybody who keeps the toys in their packaging a scalper? They certainly aren't going to <<play>> with it, so they must only be interested in its monetary value.
