WHAT DO YOU COLLECT?
     
 I used to collect female action figures, action figures that wear glasses, BTAS, Spawn, teddy bears and wooden blocks. Now I only collect toy dragons, old-style Fisher Price Little People (pre 1990), and Simpson figures. I also make soft sculpture dolls, doll quilts, doll clothing, and full size quilts. 
 
WHEN DID YOU START COLLECTING AND WHY?
     
 After I had my daughter, I started making some toys for her and spending LOTS of time in the toy depts. of various stores. I started out buying toys for her, but when I saw Spawn's Angela I started buying toys for me too. It started out as collecting female action figures and just grew.... 
 
HOW HARD IS IT TO FIND THE TOYS YOU WANT?
     
 Depends on the figures. Shortpacked female figures used to be the most difficult to find. Now it's the Simpson figures. Toy dragons seem to find me. Officially, they're "adopted," rather than "collected." 
 
WHAT ARE YOUR FEELINGS ON SCALPING?

 It bothers me when people who don't really care about a toy buy it and immediately try to sell it for more than retail just to make a buck. That makes it harder to find certain toys not only for the adult collector, but more importantly, for kids. Early in my collecting I did make the mistake of buying some things from scalpers. I learned the hard way. Fortunately there are more kind and helpful people on rtaf than scalpers and I'm grateful to all the folks who have helped my daughter and I find the toys we were looking for. Thank you! :) 
 
WHAT ARE YOUR OTHER HOBBIES/INTERESTS?
     
 Bicycling, nordic trakking, hiking, reading, dollmaking, quilting, and wasting time on the internet. *grin* I also love traveling and going to the ocean. Currently I'm trying to learn to speak Italian, and I spend lots of time with a wonderful man who shares my passion for bicycling, the beach, and toy collecting (the Simpsons, anyway *grin*). 
 
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO SHARE?
